In any case the clock is updated automatically daily which is good enough for me. The single light in the display is adequate but one on each side would be better. I find most G shock watches too big but this one has a manageable size. It is also very good looking. I would give it a 5 star if the digital display can be re-arranged. The left digital dispaly is too small to show both month and date. The hour and minute hands can completely block the display making it very difficult to read sometimes.
